Sacred Fire

I was inspired by the painting of Sodom: "Allegory of celestial love" (which we have in a blow-up at the meditation center), in which the inscriptions "stinsi terenas" and "celestes", describe the juxtaposition between the fire of earthly passions, which consume the human being and waste energy and therefore must be extinguished; and the sacred fire, source of a sublimated, disciplined and pure energy, which does not destroy or consume, but transforms us internally and therefore it must be fed. For the graphic and stylistic realization, I was inspired by one of my favorite artists, Kay Nielsen and specifically by his representation of Zefiro in the collection of fairy tales "In Powder and Crinoline".
